Chocolate salami

Do not be fooled by the name. Chocolate salami is sweet… and it does NOT contain meat! Its name comes from its cylindric shape, the way it is served, cut into slices, and the fact that its coarsely cut cookie pieces resemble the fatty pattern of salami.

The ingredients are simple and natural: dry cookies, chocolate, sugar, and eggs. In Italy, chocolate salami is a traditional Italian Food Product, part of the Prodotti agroalimentari tradizionali (P.A.T.) list.
